Jon Bennett
Jon has maintained a healthy balance of the corporate world and the not for profit work, as a father of 2 and uncle of 9. He has over 30 years in the corporate world where he has gained experience in finance, economics, strategy, contracts, audit, human resources, industrial relations, and payroll. During this period, Jon was involved in volunteer work with youth programmes, church boards, The Fathering Project, leading school support programmes and family genealogy. Jon worked with Royal Dutch Shell for over 20 years and prior to returning to Perth, he held the role as General Manager Commercial Finance for the Shell Chemicals globally.
Jon started in disability services in 2019 when asked by his sister to help her do the stuff that did not make sense to her. Like most parents supporting a child with a disability, his sister was time poor and really did not want to know about the world of finance, payroll, industrial relations and tax. “Make them go away” was the request so Jon set up this business to make it easy for her and others to self-manage.
Jon is a Fellow with the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, has a Bachelor of Commerce from UWA, a split MBA from RMIT and UWA, graduate of the IMD International Shell Business Leadership Programme.
